Challenge 

Solution

Create an absolutely unique and truly character-owned sub-brand for one of the Warner Bros licenses.  

Inspired by the Joker's iconic lines such as 'Put on a happy face' and 'Don't forget to smile', Tweak introduces the first ever Joker film cameras. Besides the unique appearance, the cameras can create absolutely unpredictable shots with overlayed textures, refractions of the light and vibrant colour saturations.

To emphasise the brand’s chaotic personality and extend the unpredictable customer experience, the idea is to create packaging similar to ’Jack in the Box’. After spinning the handle the flag pops out with the phrase ’Don’t forget to smile’, which inspired the creation of the camera. Later, the upper layer with the flag can be removed and the camera can be accessed.

As a part of the interactive advertising campaign, some of London's tube stations will be displaying vibrant posters without any context, but only the QR codes. After scanning the codes people have to solve the mystery to find the location of the hidden Joker Photo Booths and receive a discount on the camera. The concept behind the advertising campaign is to encourage people’s curiosity and involve them in the creative quest.
